3 year old child injured in Suffolk, VA after hit and run

Thursday evening a 3-year-old girl was injured after she was hit by an automobile on Kilby Avenue in Suffolk, VA.  The child was airlifted to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital’s trauma center. 

40-year-old Suffolk resident, Tonya Moore, was arrested and charged with a felony, hit and run personal injury charge. 

There was no word on the child’s condition.
