According to the Virginia State Police 9-year-old boy has died in a motorcycle crash.

Sgt. Les Tyler says Robert Pormer was a passenger on his father’s motorcycle when it collided with a pickup truck Saturday afternoon.

The Culpeper Star-Exponent were informed by Sgt. Tyler that the 9-year-old boy died at the scene.  The father, Mark Pormer, 49, of Partlow, had injuries that were not reported to be life threatening.  Mark Pormer was taken to a local hospital.

Tyler says the pickup truck driver didn’t see the motorcycle and turned into its path.
