Federal Flamability Standard Violation Forces Robe Recall

The Consumer Product Safety Commission and C.F.L. Commercial issued a voluntary recall of approximately 1000 children’s fleece robes. These robes failed to pass Federal Flamability Standards. Consumers are advised to stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise notified. It is also illegal to attempt to resell a recalled product.

The fleece robes that have been recalled were imported for Hanna Andersson of Portland OR and were sold in store as well as through the online catalog from September 2011 through November 2011. They are fluffy white fleece with large multi-color dots and 100% polyester. They were sold with Euro children’s sizes 80-150 cm (24 months through size 14) printed on the tag. “Style 38310 Hanna Andersson” is printed on the neck tag of them. These robes retailed approximately $50.
