Car accident takes three lives in New Kent on Saturday night

On Saturday night three men were involved in a single car accident on Route 60.  The driver Lon Hogge, Jr., 25, lost control of the automobile, struck a culvert and some trees. 

The passengers in his vehicle were Clarence B. Jackson III, 26, and Paul Mula, 20.  Hogge and Jackson were found dead at the scene and Mula died en route to the hospital.  No one in the vehicle was wearing a seat belt.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation
