Chesapeake, VA motorcycle accident leaves 1 dead and 1 hospitalized

Tuesday evening around 5:00pm two motorcyclists were speeding before they crashed into each other, and then hit a parked vehicle.  The 26-year-old motorcyclist, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was wearing a helmet.  The other motorcyclist, 30-year-old was transported to the hospital with head injuries; he was not wearing a helmet. As of this morning, there was still no word on his condition.

The names of the motorcyclists have not been released, as police are still working to notify the family members of the man who died.
