Driver charged with DUI after fatal crash on Granby Street

Location: 6100 block of Granby Norfolk, VA
Type: Single Car Accident

The police have charged the driver of the BMW that crashed into a tree Sunday morning killing two of the four passengers. In a written news release this morning, Richard Freeman, 24, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

Passengers:
Three passengers survived but their names have not been released.
On Sunday one was listed in critical condition and the other two passengers had minor injuries.
