Hampton, VA man dies after motorcycle accident

A 23-year-old Hampton man died Saturday after his motorcycle hit a vehicle on Settlers Landing Road. The man was thrown from his motorcycle and struck a pole on the side of the road.
The initial investigation reveals that the vehicle had backed out of a driveway and was pulling onto Settlers Landing when the motorcycle, traveling relatively fast, ran into the front passenger side in an attempt to pass.
The Hampton man was pronounced dead at the Hospital. The man’s identity will be released upon notification of family.
The investigation is ongoing.
