Monday night automobile crash in Virginia Beach leaves one person dead and three injured

Type:  Fatal Car Crash

Monday night’s automobile accident occurred after 6:30 p.m. in the Pungo section of Virginia Beach.

The names of the people involved have not been released.

The driver of the 2006 Scion ran the vehicle off the road and overcorrected into the oncoming lane and struck a Honda Odyssey head-on.  The driver of the Scion was dead at the scene. The three people in the Honda were taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.   Everyone was wearing seat belts.

 The investigation is still pending.
