Portsmouth mans after Monday morning crash

A 53-year-old Portsmouth man, Edgar R. Mansfield, died after his car crashed on an off ramp from Rte. 164.

Mansfield’s sedan crashed into the back of a semi tractor trailer.  The tractor trailer had just begun to move from a previous red light when the sedan struck it.  The car accident occurred around 7:11 am Monday morning. 

The accident remains under investigation.
