Single car accident in Virginia Beach leaves driver dead

Type:  Fatal Single Car Accident

Sunday morning Virginia Beach Police were called to a single-car accident on West Neck Road. 

The man was driving a 2002 Saturn sedan when he ran off the road into construction equipment. 

Police said he was pronounced dead at the scene.  The man’s name was not released because police were trying to contact his family.

According to police the name of the man has not been released and it is unknown if he is a Hampton Roads resident.
