Single Car Crash in Gloucester, VA takes one life, injures another

A fatal accident on August 4, took the life of Susan Joyce Wright, 38, of Colonial Beach, and seriously injured a two year-old child. Wright was driving a 2008 Kia went the car went off the right side of Rt. 17, hit several street signs, flipped over several times and entrapped the driver and passenger.

The single car accident occurred at 7:30pm, in Gloucester County.

Wright was wearing a seatbelt and the two year old child was in a car seat.

No information has been released whether alcohol or speed were factors in the crash
